Decades Of Clinical Experience

Pathway is founded out of decades of expertise and training in the field of sex and pornography addiction as well as betrayal trauma.  Built off the clinical work and influence of many top experts within this field Pathway aims to be a place where those struggling with sex addiction and their partners affected receive the care they need.

Pathway’s mission is to help you find your way through recovery.  Each client’s life and relationship are nuanced and unique so we work to help each individual and couple find their Pathway in recovery.  When many begin this process they never expected they would have to face the crisis in life set before them by addiction and don’t know where to start.  Pathway hopes to be a guide centered on the highest level expertise and training in this field, while working with each client to help them find their way.

Eric Anderson, LMFT, CSAT
M.S. in Marital and Family Therapy

Eric Anderson LMFT CSAT-S is the founder and clinical director at Pathway Therapy Center.  He graduated in 2012 with his Masters In Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary’s school of psychology and began working in the field off addiction treatment as a primary therapist in a residential chemical dependency treatment center in Southern California.

He then began working at Novus Mindful Life Institute under the direction and supervision of Duane Osterlind LMFT CSAT-S and William Feuerborn LMFT CSAT-S.  During that time he completed his certification as a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) under the guidance of Patrick Carnes PhD.  Upon getting licensed in 2015 he began a private practice and joined Banyan Therapy Group under Dan Drake LMFT CSAT-S CPPT as their intensives director, focusing on building and facilitating their intensive outpatient program (IOP) and organizing and running their intensives.  During his time there he also co-authored the workbook Rebuilding your Foundation alongside Dan Drake.

Throughout his training Eric found a passion for helping individuals and couples heal from addictive patterns and find healing and renewal.  He has learned much about the importance of  supportive care for all members of the family system involved and hopes through Pathway to bring a high level of expertise and clinical care to the delicate process of recovery from sex addiction.  He facilitates 4 ongoing men’s addiction process groups and enjoys helping men build strength, resilience, and community around an issue that has driven many into shame and isolation.
